R4R Mission
Our organization is dedicated to provide financial and therapeutic support through the power of music to families impacted by cancer and/or terminal illness and to community agencies providing care for those patients.
Our Story
Rock4Reason started eight years ago as a small campaign to help the Kent State Relay for Life team raise money for the American Cancer Society and Hospice of the Valley.
As our events grew, we saw a greater need to assist our local, Mahoning Valley families who are not only battling with their illness, but need assistance with the everyday necessities such as groceries, bills, gas and holidays.
Whether for fundraising or therapeutic donations, all of our events are centered on music with local musicians donating their time and talent to further our mission.
Rock4Reason was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization on July 10, 2016.
100% Volunteer
All officers, board members, volunteers, family, friends and anyone affiliated with Rock4Reason take absolutely ZERO dollars from donations (we all have day jobs😊). No matter the role, we are 100% volunteer and our volunteers rock! Every dollar raised goes directly to families in the Mahoning Valley.

We support everything local. Not only does every dollar raised stay in The Valley, but we also support and get support from individuals, local businesses, and organizations in Trumbull and Mahoning County. We love this place and we couldn't do it without all the help. Everyone has the power to make a difference in the life of someone else. Thank you all for your amazing kindness and compassion!
